The Vine Hopper day ticket is the most cost effective way to experience the Stellenbosch Wine Route. You can decide on what you want to do on the different farms and pay for tastings, tours or activities as you go along.
The Eastern Route wine tour in Stellenbosch operates every day Monday to Friday and showcases some of the best wines and views Stellenbosch has to offer. Experience the splendour of the Helshoogte pass and it’s wine farms on this tour. Start your day with a unique Chocolate and wine pairing at Lanzerac, Enjoy great restaurants at Zorgvliet and Boschendal. Combine your wine tasting with a meat and cheese platter at Neil Ellis wines and treat yourself in sampling lovely wines at Camberley. Fantastic scenery from the pass, and lovely relaxed settings make this a must do route. . Remember, you can decide if you want to go to all 5 estates or just visit a few and stay longer at certain farms.

Collections in Cape Town area can be arranged at an additional fee.
Wine tastings rates are not included but it ranges from R50 to R120.00 per person per tasting.
Cape Town collections can be arranged subject to availability at a once of fee of R 850 per pick up location. Includes return transfer.
Cape Town collections can only be done in the mornings at 8:30- 9:00 and return only after tour has ended leaving Stellenbosch at 17:15-17:30
This tour will be run with Covid 19 protocols in place. Please be aware that your details and temp will be taken, mask is required and sanitation will be done on entering and exiting the vehicle.
Please be ready for pick up at your Stellenbosch Central Guesthouse 15 minutes before departure time! You can also meet us at our office, Ou Landbousaal, 1 Noordwal-Wes Street, Stellenbosch. This is a great way to still be independent and not linked to a group but having the comfort of being transported, enabling you to enjoy your tastings at your own time without worries of how you are getting home!
We had a wonderful time exploring some of the Stellenbosch wine estates and being given the opportunity to taste the delicious South African wines without having to worry about DUI ? Mashall did a great job managing the group of participants (respecting their diverse preferences ?)! It was fun! Very good day out. Went to 4 estates, which was quite enough - not rushed, less danger of drinking too much, and all beautiful. Lunch at Boschendal was OK though service slow, and we would have preferred to go straight to the wine tasting accompanied by cheese or meat platters. Impressed by the wines, and bought in 3 of the estates. Overall an excellent day and very good value - Mark Lamb

The wine tour was awesome !! We had a good guide that was interactive and very accommodating . Which allowed us to enjoy the experience and not feel pressured for time.
