Activity Description

This is a fantastic way to experience one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in South Africa, combined with an abundance of Fynbos, scenic views and historic towns like Stellenbosch and Hermanus. In whale season we will have a good chance to see Southern Right Whales as a bonus!

Whale season May -November

Highlights you will see on the day tour:

• Stellenbosch to Somerset West – Strand Beach Road past Gordon’s Bay
• Scenic Clarence drive to Betty’s Bay
• Penguin Colony in Betty’s Bay if you are interested.
• Harold Porter Botanical Garden – A guide from Garden will take
you on a 1 hour walk through garden to Disa Kloof Waterfall.
• Hermanus land based whale watching. An Optional Whale watching boat cruise can be done. Whale season from (June to end of
November)
• Return via Sir Lowry’s Pass back to Stellenbosch.
