Activity Description

Hire a SUP Board and explore the Knysna Lagoon from a unique perspective.‘Take your time, stop at the beach,and catch some sunshine along the way!’ Hire a SUP in Knysna and head off to explore our pristine lagoon on your own schedule. SUP boarding is great fun for the whole family, provided you can swim! For first timers, don’t be nervous – the SUPs are stable and easy to manoeuvre, and you’re guaranteed to create some funny, adventurous memories. SUPs rental rates are based on a per SUP, per hour basis. No previous SUP boarding experience is necessary. Remember to apply sunblock before heading out, and a sunhat is a must. Life jackets and paddles are provided. Bringing along your phones or camera’s is not advised.

All activities are based at our Activity Desk at Heads Up Coffee and Co , Thesen Island Harbour Town, Knysna.

WhereWe are based at our Activity Desk at HeadsUp Coffee and Co , Thesen Island Harbour Town, Long Street, Knysna. Directions: drive down Long Street in the direction of the Knysna Heads. Continue down Long Street, over the bridge and onto Thesen Island. At the traffic circle, keep left and park. Heads Up Coffee and Co is Across milk and Honey

What to WearClothing that is comfortable when wet....as you might fall in the water.
Things to BringPlease bring a hat, water, snacks, sun-tan lotion and suitable clothing. Bring a water proof plastic bag to keep valuables in the SUP compartment.
Guests or SpectatorsSpectators are welcome to wait at our offices until the return.

ExclusionsDrinks and snacks are not provided on this activity, but guests are welcome to bring along their own water and refreshments (remember all refuse must be brought off the water again).

Please note: Guests are required to be at the activity 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. We are based at our Activity Desk at Heads up Coffee and Co Thesen Island Harbour Town, Long Street, Knysna.
